Cambridge Assessment International Education AS and A Levels are internationally benchmarked qualifications providing exceptional preparation for the commencement of university education.
Specialties of the Programme
The Cambridge International A Level is typically a two-year course, and Cambridge International AS Level is typically one year. Some subjects can be started as a Cambridge International AS Level and extended to a Cambridge International A Level.

Examination System
The British Model College follows the Cambridge International examination cycle, offering students two main opportunities throughout the academic year to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
This flexible approach allows students to pace their learning and choose the examination series that best suits their progress.
June Series
Examinations held in May/June with results released in August.
November Series
Examinations held in Oct/Nov with results released in January.
Grading System
Students are expected to take at least four subjects, including the English General Paper. Students are assessed on a grade scale from A* (highest achievement) to E (minimum pass). U stands for ungraded, which is a fail.

Academic Requirements
Minimum Grade C in SEE or equivalent in major subjects (English, Mathematics, Science).
Candidates should have a strong academic foundation to pursue the rigorous A-Level curriculum.

Flexible Subject Choices
The college offers various subject combinations to fulfil requirements and to prepare students for university studies across science, medical, engineering, management and liberal arts.
Students are free to study a range of subjects, as we believe that giving students the power to choose helps to motivate them throughout their studies.
Students study three full subjects as well as the English General Paper throughout the two years of A Levels.
The standard admission requirement for UK universities is three A Levels.
